POSTMORTEM

A postmortem from the file you drop.

This is a template page, not a report from a customer's file. Drop the notes you already wrote. A detection time, downtime, or an impact line appears only when the file already states it.

Before

Incident notes in a file.

After

A report from that file. Preserve keeps your exact words. Without a paid plan the rest is not sent.

What this page will say

This page does not name the facts a postmortem must include. If the file states a detection time, a mitigation time, downtime, or an impact, that figure can appear. If it does not, the report should not add one.

02

What the report is asked to do

Preserve is the default and keeps your exact words. Editorial can tighten the prose. This page does not promise a reading time or a word count.

03

What a reader can do

A public share link is a Pro feature. Anyone with that link can read the report. Adding a highlight or a note needs a sign in. Posh does not record whether the reader opened the link. Someone who has not paid sees about one section, capped near 800 words. The rest is not sent.
