Posh turns a file into a report.

Posh makes one thing: a written report from a file you already have, for people who send clients a report every month. This page says what it does, what it will not do, and what it runs on.

What Posh is

Posh turns your client files into branded reports. You drop a P&L, a management accounts pack, a ticket export, a ledger, or any PDF or spreadsheet. Posh sends it to Posh AI and returns a report with an opening, a few key facts, and short numbered sections, ready for you to read, mark up, and send.

It is built first for small accounting and bookkeeping practices, and also for IT support firms and property managers. Why Posh explains how it differs from connected reporting tools.

What a drop does

A PDF is sent to Posh AI as the file. An image is sent as the image. For every other file, Posh takes the text out and sends that text. If the text is longer than 80,000 characters, Posh AI receives the first 80,000 characters. Posh refuses an empty file and a file larger than 10 MB.

The call does not send a training setting. This page does not say what our AI provider keeps after the call. The privacy page names the provider.

If you are not signed in, Posh does not save the file and does not save the report. You read a short preview, about one section, capped near 800 words. The rest is not sent. The file is still sent to Posh AI for that preview.

If you are signed in and the database is configured, the report is saved in Neon Postgres. A paid plan stores the text Posh AI returned. Anyone else gets a stored report cut to one section and 800 words. The full path, including where a stored file is kept, is on where your files go.

What you can do

PDF, Excel, Word, CSV, emails, transcripts, bank downloads, photos, a ZIP, several files at once, or a Google Sheets link. Up to 10 MB. Preserve keeps your words; Editorial tightens them.
Check every fact
Up to four key facts, each with where it came from and a mark: In the file, or Not found as written.
See what moved
Two periods or budget and actual become a table; Posh calculates the change itself.
Save client setups
Name, report type, and house rules per client, such as Australian spelling.
Schedule it
Monthly or quarterly from a Google link, saved to your library, emailed on Pro when email is on.
Highlight and add notes
Mark a sentence and pin a note to it. Needs a sign in.
Keep a library
Signed in reports are saved. Run one again and the earlier copies are kept.

Clips and Studio
Crop a clip from any report and compose clips into a new report.
Share and get approval
A public share link is a Pro feature. You see when it was opened, and the reader can approve it.
Put your brand on it
On Pro: your name, logo, and one color, with the Posh line off unless you turn it on.

What Posh will not do

  • Audit your numbers or give financial or tax advice. Posh formats and explains.
  • Invent a number on purpose. The model is told to copy facts from the file, and Posh then marks each fact found in the file or not. That is a text match, not an audit, so read before you send.
  • Show customer logos, reviews, or results. This site has none to show and does not make them up.
  • Hide that AI writes the report. Posh AI writes it, and this site says so.

    Packs, checks, and schedules

    Several files or a Google link in one report. Every fact checked against the file. A What moved table. Word and PowerPoint downloads. Client setups, monthly schedules, and approvals on shared links.

What delete does

This code does not choose a number of days and then delete the file. A signed in owner can delete a report they own. That removes the report record. Highlights and notes on that report go with it. The uploaded file stays.

Plans

Hobby is $9 a month or $39 once and includes 10 reports in a calendar month. The Made with Posh line stays on Hobby. Pro is $29 a month or $99 once and includes 50 reports in a calendar month. Pro can set a name, a logo, and one color, and the Posh line stays off unless you turn it on. The count resets at the start of the next month. Studio and Agency are not for sale. Card checkout is not switched on until Stripe is connected.
